In case of using SICOMET HI-SPEED BS or BT the polymerisation of SICOMET cyanoacrylate adhesives may extremely be shortened. We recommend an application for thicker adhesive layers, inactive materials or in case of unfavourable environmental influences. After wetting one of the joint parts which can be done by brushing, dipping or spraying, the solvent has to evaporate. After the application of the cyanoacrylate adhesive the parts have immediately to be fixed. The reactivity of cyanoacrylates in connection with activated surfaces is dependent on the adhesive type as well as on materials and environmental influences. As a rule the polymerisation starts within seconds. The accelerated curing reaction may cause a shrinking of the adhesive film. If SICOMET HI-SPEED is post-applicated incompatibilities on the surface of the adhesive may occur.
